Word from the Datacenter: (March 07, 2006)

We would first like to apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced. We know how critical 
server uptime is for you and we are dedicated to maintaining a high uptime record. Earlier this 
evening and over the course of this past weekend, servers were undergoing a DDoS attack. This 
stands for Distributed Denial of Service attack. You can read more information regarding what this

As soon as the attacks started, our network administrators and network engineers began to work on 
this situation. The attack has been mitigated at the present time. Unfortunately, it is difficult to 
prevent these types of attacks as they change frequently. Due to the nature and scale of the attacks 
we are working with upstream providers, which limit our ability to respond as quickly as we would 
like. 


Again, we do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and please be assured that we 
have done and will continue to do everything within it's' power to solve these issues.

"Because this is such a large scale attack we have to go through our upstream providers in order to 
stop the attack. That is why this matter is not resolved as of yet."
